This Privacy Policy explains how Home Service Experts LLC (operating the HSE AI web application at ai.homeserviceexperts.io) collects, uses, and protects information you provide through the application.

1. Who we are

HSE AI is operated by Home Service Experts LLC (“HSE,” “we,” “us”). You can reach us at parker@homeservicepartnerprogram.com.

2. What we collect

When you use HSE AI, we collect the following categories of information:

Account information you provide directly:

  • Email address and password (password is hashed and stored via Supabase Auth)
  • Your name, age (optional), location, and background

Business information you provide directly:

  • Business identity details (LLC name, DBA, EIN, geographic market, etc.)
  • Financial data (revenue, expenses, margins)
  • Sales and marketing performance data (close rates, CPLs, channel spend)
  • Subcontractor details (names, rates, insurance status, performance ratings)
  • Team member information
  • Goals, priorities, and business phase information

Content you generate:

  • Generated Master Context Documents, which are stored in our database and in your account
  • Records of which prompts you copy and which documents you download

Automatically collected technical information:

  • Login times and session information
  • Error data (via Sentry, with personal identifiers removed before transmission)
  • Product analytics events (via PostHog — see Section 4)
  • IP address and browser/device information (standard web server logs)

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate the HSE AI application (authentication, generating context documents, delivering features you request)
  • Personalize the output of the application for your business
  • Improve the application over time by understanding usage patterns
  • Communicate with you about your account, product updates, and support (via Resend)
  • Detect and resolve errors and security issues
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, business information, or any content you generate in the application. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Service providers (subprocessors)

We use the following third-party services to operate HSE AI. These providers process information on our behalf under contractual data-protection terms:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
  • Vercel — application hosting
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Sentry — error tracking (personal identifiers are scrubbed before transmission)
  • PostHog — product analytics
  • Anthropic — we do not send your data to Anthropic as part of this application. When you paste your generated context document into your own Claude Project, that is a separate relationship between you and Anthropic, governed by Anthropic's terms and privacy policy.

5. How we protect your information

We take reasonable measures to protect your information:

  • All data is transmitted over HTTPS
  • Passwords are hashed (never stored or transmitted in plaintext)
  • Database access is restricted by row-level security policies so you can only read or modify your own data
  • Administrative access is limited to authorized HSE personnel
  • Sensitive fields (like EIN) are encrypted at rest where applicable

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will delete your account and associated data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain information to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. Backups may take longer to fully purge.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Delete your personal information
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Object to certain processing or withdraw consent

8. Children

HSE AI is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

9. International users

HSE AI is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the application, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the application. Continued use of the application after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
